Restaurants
My friend's birthday dinner is this Saturday. We have no idea where we want to go. We live in W. Hempstead/Oceanside area and we're willing to drive....within reason. We need a good italian or seafood place for dinner.
Any suggestions???

West End Cafe in Carle Place -- DH and I just came from there -- it is really one of the best on the Island, amazing food and EXCELLENT service (which is hard to find!!)....

I like all the places mentioned already. What about Ciao Baby in Massapequa, I have only been there once but I thought it was really good.

DH and I love this place too! (we had SILs baby shower there too). I love the ambiance... and theyre paninis are awesome.. so is their chicken breast with goat cheese!!

i second this... we got engaged here too, but regardless, it is a great place, and excellent food, and reasonable prices.

Vincents in Carle Place is a great place...the portions are big, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great!!!

Coolfish in Syosset.. It is one of my favorites. I also like Fiddleheads in Oysterbay..
West end Cafe is great also.
Cafe Laguna in Long Beach, Corbin and Reynolds in Long beach.
There is always La Parma or LA Viola.
Also, Blue Hanu in Huntington
