Today is DH's B-day...
and we are 500 miles away from each other  He lives in NC now and I am not heading down there until mid January.
This is the first birthday in 10 years that we are not together for. It makes me sad that I am not there to celebrate with him.

Thanks. I know I will be there and I am usually fine with it. We are separated now in order to better our future and we are both ok with it. It is just days like this that make me sad.
