cheap place for cheap drinks and some grub
need a place to meet a friend, she's coming from queens i'm coming from woodbury.
doesn't need to be a fancy place, pub food is fine. any ideas?

st james( near winthrop hospital).
I think there are a few other bar/restauraunts over there. there is one on the corner of a street and old country road has chanced names a million and one times in teh recent years..

St. James and Jackie Reilly's are both great suggestions. The Inn Between is also good. It's in either Jericho or Syosset.

LOVE St. James. they have the best brunch!

LOVE St. James. they have the best brunch!
I used to go there all the time when I worked in Mineola...
and there was another place close by...Eleanor Rigbys...the food was pretty good there.

Chili's. Right by Roosevelt Field. Food is awesome and the drinks are even better!

the St. James or Eleanor Rigby's in Mineola are good choices.... The Inn Between is also on Jericho Tpke in Syosset across from Borders.
