I know someone who bought two air conditioners at Home Depot, they had one in the cart and one underneath....the girl at the register only scanned the top one and they walked out with 2 for the price of 1
Would you have corrected her mistake?

When Cailen was an infant, DH and I brought him into the Stop N Shop, putting his infant carrier right into the shopping cart. As we were at self-checkout, I said - "We need napkins!" and grabbed a small package of cheap napkins and threw it into the cart. It got hidden by his infant carrier, and when we wheeled him out, we noticed. It was about a dollar, so we were like, oh well....

I've seen this at a self checkout but never where the cashier checks you out. I think it's terrible people do things like that purposely because it ultimately drives up the cost of stuff for everyone else. If it was a mistake, that's another story.

I doubt this. If I couldn't afford, and was planning on stealing $7 worth of chicken, I would steal $7 worth of chicken thighs- what is that like 12 pounds of meat?
She's dirty theif.
I was a bit of a klepto when I was a teen. Terrible, I know. But she was just stealing.
