Hemingway's / Mulcahy's in Wantagh
going tonight for a jack & jill bach party.
I'm the DD.
I don't know many places in Nassau at all, and i've never been to either of these places. I don't know what to wear, I don't know how much cash to have on hand, I don't know!
Will it be insanely crowded on a sat night?
Can someone help me out?

i think hemingways is a bit more formal, if that makes sense.

Mulcahys will probably be! Hemingways gets crowded, but not as crowded as Muls.
You can wear jeans at both places. Mulcahys is VERY casual. You can get away with nice jeans and a nice top at Hemingways. It's not "fancy" - but it's a bit less casual than Mulcahys. Jeans are certainly okay at both places.

mulcaheys will be pretty full---its quite a popular bar----and its big---so can fit a lot of peeps.

We went to Hemingways with another couple last spring. I think everyone in the place (on a Saturday night) had on nice jeans, shoes and nice tops

Mulcahey's has a band and a dj. Spent many a nights there having a blast. You should have fun. May be very crowded, depends on what band is playing. I just checked the website, a band called Fullhouse goes on at 9pm, probably on till 1100ish. Then a dj comes on (and in between if they break).
Jeans are fine either place. I woulld have at least $150 on me to be safe, if you plan to buy drinks for the bachelorette, dinner, etc.

Mulchay's is where my DH & I met for the first time!  Never been to the other place, but I agree with the pp's about Muls.
