Earphone poll
So DH got me an IPOD for Christmas. I love it but I am having a difficult time with the "in-the-ear" earphones. For some reason, they don't stay in! I don't want to get the old school over the head ones, so I am looking for suggestions. DH swears there is something with my ears 
So, what does everyone else use???

I have the same EXACT problem & was going to post the same thing!!!!!!
I loathe earbuds. My mission this weekend is to search for a pair that goes around my ears or something ay more comfortable that wont pop out.
Whoever designed those things must have a really large ear.

I use the "in the ear" ones. I have small ears and had a hard time with them in the beginning, for some reason they stay in now.
Try it a few more times and maybe your ears will get used to them, like mine did!

I have small ears and the ones that came with my iPod KILL my ears if I wear them for any amount of time. I literally get a major headache and feel like someone stuck knives in my ears

Me too, they kill my ears!!! I got ones from Sony. They go around the top of your ear and have small buds that sit inside your ear. They are much more comfortable for me. HTH

I have the earbuds with the soft tip from Apple....love them! they come with different tips so that they stay in your ear. the hard ones hurt my ear

i know how you feel, mine don't always stay in either! another poster mentioned bose earphones, they are shaped a litle differently and seem to stay in better although they are

My mission this weekend too!! I just can't use the earbuds anymore...I tried running with them yesterday but that was just more annoying since they kept coming out!!!

These are the ones you should look for, I had the same problem with th earbuds hat came with my ipod, but these stay in and are comfortable as hell. There is no particular brand, I got mine at Walmart.

Me too!!!
I can only use the big earphones that sit on your ear!

DH bought me the Bose in ear ones for x-mas. The first time I used them they were great. Now they wont stay in my ear for anything...and I have them on the smallest ear piece.

I have in the ear ones. The Ipod ones were awful. I think these are Sony, and work well for me.
MY DH hates ear buds, so I got him old school over the ear ones for Christmas & they were hard to find. They had 1 option in Radio Shack. ( ETA-He doesn't use them in public! )
The over the ear, behind the head version were more widely available, or the bigger, over the ear-fancy DJ style ones.
