Braxton Hicks
Has anyone felt a sort of tense bunching feeling on one side of their bellies? I told my doctor about it and he says it should be fine--Its not at all painful--but it is sort of uncomfortable--you feel the muscle tightening and your tummy gets hard in that area for a few seconds--I don't feel it constantly but it has occured maybe three times today...Dr. said its probably braxton hicks or maybe a ligament but I still feel paranoid--this is all new to me! Any feedback would be appreciated.

Sounds like BH contractions, I got them from about week 26 on.

I'm 30 weeks and i'm starting to definitly feel something, I think I scared the hell out of DH cause I grabbed my belly and made a wierd face .. LOL as long as they don't keep going it's fine as from what my doctor told me

I always said it felt like he was turning over and sticking his butt out.
A heavy heavy tightening feeling.

No, it's not too early. BH can start in the 6th week (I think) not that you'd feel them that early...but 22wks is "normal".

those are fine and are braxton hicks that u might be experiencing. Also happens if you walk around a lot or dont drink enough fluids.
