Need some help re: educating about pet stores (please no drama)
Can someone give me a website or some information that does NOT have any graphic pictures so I can send it to some family members who have bought from pet stores? They did not and still don't know about all of these terrible things that go on, and I know that if they did know, they would NEVER buy from there again.
I'd really appreciate your help, but please nothing with graphic pictures! There are young children who will see.
TIA

This link is to stoppuppymills.org
it is an FAQ about puppy mills--and doesn't have graphic imagery:

This is a forum on it: No puppy mills

I applaud you for asking for this to share with friends and family.
Taken from the below link....exactly what many of us have been saying.
>>>As consumers, we have the power to stop the cruel cycle of animal abuse perpetuated by puppy mills. When we buy a pet or even shop at a store that sells puppies, we contribute to a heartless underground industry that forces dogs to spend their entire lives in cages constantly breeding to support consumer demand for puppies.
great link! http://www.stoppuppymills.org/

Many of the websites will have graphic picture, because unfortunately that is the most effective way for people to understand the severity.
Prisoners of greed has a lot of good information without too much graphic content.
Also go to ASPCA's website. They have some valuable information as well.

There are a couple of pictures when the page opens but nothing graphic. It's an excellent resource to learn about the industry and ways on how to help and/or stop.
