We brought Abby home today from being spayed
And - what a difference from Molly's spaying. She looks amazing. I'm still paranoid, of course. I don't want her to run - or jump - or climb stairs - but she wants to do all of these things. She looks amazing.
It makes me so sad though - to think about my poor Molly. Abby has two teeny little incisions (two - because she had an umbilical hernia that needed to be corrected) and, Molly had a HUGE incision basically the length of her entire body.
My baby didn't have a chance to survive and lived such a hard life. It just makes me cry thinking about what she went through - and how much pain she had to endure - and then how she died.
It's just not fair.
But - we are soooooooo lucky to have such an amazing dog in Abby now and I'm so thankful everything went great.

Yayyyyy!!!! So glad to hear she's doing well...of course, I'm always sad when I hear Molly's story

We go to A&A in Franklin Square. They are unbelieveable. So knowledgeable about everything - and they always make me feel at ease knowing what went on with Molly. It's not THAT far from me - about 20-25 mins. but I don't care - they are so worth it.
I just wish I had gone to them for Molly from the beginning.

that's where we brought Iggy for his first checkup!
I really liked them, but they are too far for me to go to now. But I might bring him back there to get neutered.

aww i am so happy to hear that!! it's the hardest thing, finding a really good reputable vet that you actually feel comfortable with. i'm in the process of doing the same!!
