Floppy straw hats - yay or nay?
I was thinking about getting a floppy straw hat for my next beach vacation. Are those still "in"? If so, any recs on which one to get? Thanks

I have one (have had it for years) and I love bringing it on vacation to wear at the beach or byi the pool side, when hair is a mess.
It's kinda small and easy to pack. I'd love a bigger one.

I think they are adorable-- I almost bought one when I was just in Jamaica, but thought it would be a pain to pack to bring home-- to answer your other ques, I think you can buy them ON vacation.

FYI JD - Don't wear it in the pool, while your drinking. My fave hat was put to rest in Key West after a few ritas and a dip in the pool.

though - i do like when they are authentic - like from a street vendor on an island someplace.

Me too! Its nine west and I actuallty got it at Kohls at the end of the season (right before my honey moon) for $12!
