How long did it take your puppy to recover after spaying

I can't go by Molly and her spaying since there were so many issues.

Abby gets spayed tomorrow and we will pick her up on Tuesday around noon.

What do I have on my plate over the next few days? When will she REALLY start to recover?

Misty only took a few days. We weren't allowed to let her run for ten days and we had to watch that she didn't pick at her sutures.
But she was only off for a few days and she wanted to run around....we had to take her for really long walks. She did pick one of her stitches out a week or so after her surgery and we took her to the emergency vet, but they said she was already healing so they didn't do anything.

I have two male cats and their healing time is a lot faster. But my friend has a female dog that was recently spayed. Her full recovery time was about 7-10 days.

Abby will be back on her paws before you know it!!!Chat Icon

Hmm hard to remember for all of them, but I think Pyxie (my only girl) took 2 - 3 days to be completely back to normal. They guys bounced back a little quicker.

ETA: I did not let her jump on anything until the stitches completely dissolved - which took about 7 days.

1-2 days for one. The other one about 3-4 days. They spent the first night in their "daddy's" arms all night in the chair in the LR. Chat Icon

Same here except it took longer to heal b/c she developed a seroma at the site from all the jumping that she tried to do.
