I think Misty has a cold

I didn't even know dogs could get colds...but her eyes are runny(especially when she comes in from outside) and she is sort of wheezing in bed at night.
I'm waiting for a call back from the Vet....hopefully, I can take her in today since I called in sick cuz I have a cold myself.

Sorry Misty!! Feel Better!!

Charlie had a cold this year. He had the same symptoms including the wheezing at night. It scared us but we got a prescription for some antibiotics and he was totally fine by the end of it.

I don't think they can get human colds but I do think they can get doggie colds but that is not too common. Hope the vet can help her get better asap!

Crazy isn't it?! My dog would get a cold every now and then during the winter months. He would sneeze!! I swear!! It was kinda funny...

They can also get a form of acid reflux that is similar to humans. He had that too...we had to give him a zantac 2x a day!

Apparently, it's not a cold. It's the forced air heat in our house. I now have to buy humidifiers for the dog!
