Re: E-rings from Costco (z100 related)
Yea..Uh I would NOT be complaining and who gives where it came from.
Im a member of BJs and my mom got a ring from there. She had it looked at and the jeweler said the diamonds were excellent quality and thought she paid almost double than what they did pay for.
I also bought a Movado there for an ex and his friends kept asking if it was "real" since I bought it there.

honestly i was watching something on like 60 minutes or dateline....one of those news shows.....and they were saying that Costco actually has some of the best quality stones compared to actually jewelry and department stores, and for better prices.
so i don't know why she'd be worried---no one asks where it comes from!
a lot of people don't know this about costco so maybe that is why she feels - but it is completely true what melissa and the other ladies are saying - costco has really good quality jewels - they sell movados, my father bought my mother a diamond pendant necklace and it came with a certificate, appraisal, certificate of authenticity and value, etc. it was a beautiful, high quality stone that was A LOT more money in the dept stores! it's pretty amazing.
you can get a, for example, four carat ring like that girl on the radio for the price most people would pay for maybe a TWO carat (if that) and the quality - clarity, color, etc wouldn't be the same either! crazy - who would have thought, right?

Costco has really nice e-rings. I wouldn't mind getting one from there. I told my SO that they had them there when he's ready to buy.

Re: E-rings from Costco (z100 related)
I love my ring, it flashes and sparkles and I have no clue of the quality or actual size of the center or side diamonds if you put a gun to my head.
I know my hubby paid THOUSANDS less that some folks boast and I don't care. I didn't say yes to him because it was a quality diamond with a huge price tag. I'd have married him for a chip of rock on a string.
I rarely wear my ering lately (too big for me) but I admit Im as girly as all that, I LOVE SPARKLIE. I don't concern myself too much with the details. Is it real? and do I like it? that's it. Its even BETTER if we can still have dinner out that night!
I got my Citizen Eco Watch from Costco. They got GREAT prices! Never understood why any woman is so self centered with such low self esteem that they worry about such stupid things. bah

Re: E-rings from Costco (z100 related)
I worked for a jewelry company that supplied jewelries for Costco (and BJ's) when its was Price Costco and they have one of the strictest quality inspection. Anything over $1000.00 even if it is not diamond has to have an appraisal certificate. I'd rather buy my jewelry from Costco or even BJ's because i know that the mark-up is not that high and the quality better. Have you ever checked at the Costco website, they have rings that were around $75,000.
