So does this make me a scrooge?
I took down my tree and all decorations (well I left the "winter" stuff up) this afternoon...
Im having friends over NYE and with the kids- I want the tree out of the way. I had the day off- DS was being really good- so I saw opportunity knocking and I answered it...
So does this make me a scrooge??? Am I the only crazy???
(Ps my tree went up the day after Thanksgiving- so its been up awhile)

No - I'm having people over NYE too and I want it down before then. I just won't have anytime to do it before this weekend.

If you are a scrooge I can not imagine what I am. I took everything down last night.
The kids fell asleep early last night and I decided this was my moment. With a 2 year old and a 5 week old I had to take the opportunity too.

Nope. We are keeping ours up till Jan. 6th (little christmas).
We got a smaller tree this year and its barely in the way.
Plus..Jan. 6th is tradition and I like my friends to come over on NYE and see the house decorated.
ETA: you are not a scrooge. If we did get a bigger tree, I may have had to consider taking it down.

No. If we didn't just buy our tree 10 days ago it wouuld be down but I feel like I need to get my $70 worth out of it

i wouldn't say you're a scrooge...
but there are 12 days of Christmas and technically it just started yesterday... i always keep mine up until Jan. 6th (the Ephinany)

We didn't put one up either! We just got back from vacation and weren't entertaining for Christmas, so we just skipped it this year!
