Do you like or listen to classical music?
I think after Fantasia, I was hooked as a kid. I love Tchaikovsky the best, especially the 1812 overture.

yes, having grown up as a dancer...i love it. I love Stravinsky. He was way ahead of his time with the avant garde, neoclassical stuff. Agon is a masterpiece. As is the score for "The Four Temperaments."

Absolutely, My DH is a trained classical pianist.. We listen to WQXR all the time in the car... The crazy thing is that my DH will name the piece within a minute of hearing one.. I am still in awe 6 years later, when he says something like we are listening to he 5th movement of the concerto of violins by Bach.. and then he gets all happy when they announce the piece and he is right... I am like how does he know that...
I personally like the romantic period.... I don't really have a favorite... To me it is very calming when I want to relax..

Absolutely! I'm a sucker for Haydn and the Strauss family. 
I LOVE putting on the classical channels on Cablevision's digital music.

It find it very relaxing. In fact my dad has the CD the world's most relaxing classical music which I love. Vivaldi is among my favorites.

Oh yes, I love classical. I used to play several instruments and I sang as a kid so I had a lot of exposure to all kinds of music.
I have been trying to get DH to take me to the opera or symphony, but no luck so far

Exactly the same for me.
Tchaikovsky will always hold a place in my heart...I also really like Dvorak (Tempo Di Valse being a favorite) and Ravel.

i LOVE it....played violin for years and really learned to appreciate it. i try and get DH into it--hes slowly coming around. (he's into rap, r&b, old school, etc)
he used to look at me like i was crazy with all my music.

The NY Philharmonic will be performing at CW Post/Tilles Center on Jan 5th! Maybe you can con your hubby into taking you for the holidays.
