Re: Ipod Help..
go back to your old computer, and backup your songs to a external device (jumpdrive, harddrive, cd/dvd, etc...) move them to your new machine...
If you can, place them in the same directory as your old machine...
Add them to your library...
Once you sync on first time on new computer, yes, it will delete your music but if the music is on your new machine, it will add them back...
If your not ready to delete ipod music, you can go to your old itunes computer, redownload the music your purchased, then sync until you are ready to use the new machine...
Are both computers on the network in your house? if so, you can simply move them over via a shared folder

Re: Ipod Help..
So there is no way I can just add new songs without getting rid of my old songs?...My old computer is not in my house anymore so I can't redownload the music from there.

Re: Ipod Help..
I think you can, and don't quote me on this... If you hook it up to the new computer, choose no when it ask you to sync it to the machine...then go in to the options and select manually sync a certain folder...
i would do a quick search on this but i'm sure this may work...

This is correct - when you plug in your ipod and the ipod info screen comes up - really quick, before the ipod starts automatically sync-ing the music - scroll down and hit the check box for manually manage your music. Then all you have to do is drag music onto your ipod icon - but it will not pull off any music that is already on your ipod.
