holiday/christmas treat?
on the friday before christmas, there is usually only my department in the office (the work-mules)... i was thinking i might bring in a fun treat for those of us who have to be there.
any suggestions?
btw, i'm a horrible cook, so it has to be easy!

Re: holiday/christmas treat?
How about chocolate chip cookies? buy the toll house already-made kind that you can just throw in the oven.

You took the words out of my mouth...
Or even the Pillsbury sugar cookies. All you need to do is slice, sprinkle some colored sugar on top and bake.
They taste great!

Re: holiday/christmas treat?
Oh! And I'd like to add, if you really want to make it look nice, I saw these chinese take out containers with holly printed on them with Christmas tree tags. If you know no one will find it offensive (since it's somewhat Christmas-centric) you could make everyone their own personal box!
It looks very cute!

Re: holiday/christmas treat?
The pre-made cookies are a great idea. You can also get pretzel rods and dip them in melted chcocalte and add sprinkles, nuts, etc. YUM

Re: holiday/christmas treat?
I personally think you should bring a couple of bottles of champagne and some oj and make MIMOSAS! I think that is what I am going to do for my girls who work Christmas Eve!

Re: holiday/christmas treat?
fudge is good too. you can make it in a pot on the stove, and then just refrigerate. It usually makes a lot, too.
