ok so a lady just dropped $5 and didnt realize it...
and by the time i realized it she was gone already! so now do i donate it to a charity like the salvation army or something or be selfish and buy lotto scratch offs?
i feel kinda guilty spending it cause i didnt earn it. what would you do?

if i just found $5 on the street, i would consider it found $$, but since you "know" who dropped it, i would feel bad spending it - i would definitely donate it to charity. every little bit helps!!

my dh found some cash in a parking lot recently and he gave it to a homeless man in the city on his way to work. he didn't feel it was right to keep it.
i would probably donate it

I would do the same! I found $10 once at a restaurant and I donated it to the American Cancer Society.
