ear infection
So I have a really bad ear infection - been on antibiotic (2X a day) since Tuesday night, in addition to two different types of ear drops as well (2X a day). I am not feeling any relief. I still can't hear out of my ear and it's completely clogged. Any advice?

The anti-biotic will start to work, til then, what i have been doing is taking aleve to relieve the pressure in my ear and head bc as you kjnow, ive been out of work all weejk w/ the same thing

You poor thing! I like to pack my ears with cotton and for added relief, I get out the blowdryer and I put it on a low setting and blowdry my ear in a circular motion. It makes it feel so good!

Can you take a benydrl (sp) to maybe drain the liquid.

Thanks for the advice I'll try alleve now. Are u feeling any better? Are u going to work tomorrow?

Anyone else? I'm in so much pain.
Has anyone had clogging like this before? I'm worried because I cannot hear out of my ear and I can't get an appt. with the ENT until next week!

I hope you feel better soon. I had an ear infection that wasn't treated correctly by a doctor and turned out to be so painful and wound up lasting a long time.
I would call the doctor and let him know you are still in pain.

Thank you.
I am going to call the ENT tomorrow and see if I can get in there faster. I am in too much pain to wait until next week and I NEED to alleviate some of this pressure!!!
