TMI... had cyst removed, yesterday
it was a little more complicated than first thought. it wasn't drained, it was CUT OFF!
i needed stitches.
it didn't hurt, but it stung afterwards.
i've been taking it easy and just making sure EVERYTHING is CLEAN.
i wanted to thank all of you who gave me such good information about the process. i wasn't worried or scared about the process.

I just wanted to send you some . I hope you feel better soon. I have had 2 cysts cut out of my back and it hurts. It burns alot. Just try to take it easy.

My husband had surgery in March to remove a fatty cyst (I know there is another name, just can not think of it) on his back.
I was not thrilled with the doctor. He always came in late for the appointments. He was even late for his surgery.
Michael, had a minor infection which I feel would have been prevented if the doctor explain things to him, his mom, and me.
He was perfectly fine after a few weeks.
Just remember to rest. Michael thought he was able to do anything the day after. Looking back he should have rested more.

I think it's called a Lipoma. I had one removed from my thigh recently. Just be careful that you don't pull a stitch. Take it easy even if you feel better. I learned that the hard way.
