I need a remedy
I have lost my voice. Gone. Adios.
I can't miss work tomorrow.
Any suggestions on how to get my voice back?

I lost my voice a few weeks ago and I just drank a ton of hot tea. Add some lemon (i think that's a remedy!) if you have it.

I've never completely lost my voice, but I sing a lot and keeping hydrated is key. hot tea or hot water is best... but any liquid you can drink is great....
Avoid dairy if you can, it actually coats your cords.
Also, i love ricola lozenges. the menthol in halls is actually harsh on your vocal cords.

maybe warms towels on your throat? (20 mins on per hour).. might help sooth your vocal chords.
