Adult Acne

I went off of BCP back in July and ever since I have been breaking out like a 16 year old. And as if the breakouts aren't bad enough, the scars they leave behind make me want to cry and the marks last for weeks - even when there is no more pimple.

Does anyone else have scarring problems caused by acne? What do you do to lessen the markings?

yes, I have scarring and HATE it, I use lots of cover up.....I am thinking after the holidays to go for treatments by my dermatologist.

I don't, but it is probably worth a trip to the Derm.I'm sure they can help....GL

I don't do anything because I am a pain in the coolie. I have been to the derm but they want me to take these crazy pills that they are like "Make sure you are not pregnant and DO NOT get pregnant on them!!!!" OK if they harm an unborn baby that much they must be harming me somehow so I don't take them. All I can sugget is DON'T pick. I do and it is so much worse that way. Or if something needs to be popped use Q-tips. I have the same problem, I know it stinks.

Let me know what your derm says if you go. I would like to hear another opinion.
