Just got home today from LI and DH said as soon as we got in the door "So can we put the tree up". So it started with just the tree, then my village boxes made their way out, then we figured we might as well put up the outside lights and candles in the windows.
So yeah, we're like 90% done.

nope, didn't decorate anything. I DID buy all the wrapping paper and some silver trees and ornaments for our bay windows. That's it, though
this year, I decided to take out all the sterling ornaments and use them (After all, why have them, if you don't put them up?) BUT this requires a full day of polishing before we can put them up  I think I'll do that next weekend, and we'll put up the tree the first week of december

next saturday we are going east to cut our tree down. I wnt to try to get the outside stuff done during the week
Let me know when the "10 foot" Santa is out, you know I have to come see him every year.

S/O put all the lights up outside yesterday, we even had this box that plays music. You plug the lights into the box and they blink to the music. It looked great.
We went out for about an hour, came home and the house was dark  . Even the lights that were not plugged into the music thing were off, nothing was unplugged, the switch was on, the fuse wasn't blown but no lights.
He was going to try and figure out why today, but with the rain guess it will wait until tomorrow.

We put up our tree about 2 weeks ago and I did the outdoor decorations on Friday.

We just put up a few decoration on the inside. We are living in a construction zone right now. We just don't have any room.

The tree went up on Friday and the inside of the house was decorated by Saturday night.
DH will put the Christmas lights up on Saturday outside.

We put our lights up outside because it was so warm on Thanksgiving... they aren't on yet though.
The tree and the rest of the decorations are going up after we get home after our weekend away.. i'm afraid my cats will take the tree down while we are gone

So far, we have 2 pointsettas and a little pine tree w/ ornaments. And we bought a Santa Claus figurine in a sleigh w/ presents and a reindeer that we have on top of our kitchen cabinets. Our cabinets go up high so it works. LOL
Our tree maybe we will put up in two more weeks.

We put up the outside decorations -- hanging snowflake lights, entryway light-up trees, an animated deer and an animated angel. Looks beautiful!!
