question???
so last week the doc said the baby is head down, and today at my massage my massage lady said the baby has dropped in her opinion...so I guess the baby is getting in position but I am not due till dec 28th...does this mean she may come early and I had better bust my butt getting ready since NOTHING is ready yet??? also not been feeling the greatest the last couple days...tummy hurts a bit

No, it is typical for your baby to drop around 36 weeks or so. My baby dropped around 35 weeks & I still went a week late.

Not at all....my baby has been in position since at least 29 weeks(thats when they looked) and now Im 35 weeks. Its just a good sign that the baby wont be breech, but no indication of when it will come. I think its actually supposed to be head down at this point.
ETA: I also dropped at around 29 weeks--my due date is the day before yours.

My daughter started getting into position at about 36 weeks and I was almost 42 weeks when I went into labor. So I would say it might not mean anything but at this point I would be ready to go anyway. Once you hit that 36 week mark you never know when you might go.

thanks for the responses! DH felt better knowing that its not def just around the corner, just possibly lol...we have quite a bit left to get ready so he will just start moving faster now haha

My DD was three weeks early and 2 days earlier my Doc said I was still very high and nothing was going on. He said I would most likely go to my due date or later. Well 2 days later she came!
My point is just that everyone is different, some girls are dialated for weeks before. Ya just never know.
