When did you first take baby to see relatives
My due date is 12/5- I am wondering if we will be able to take her to family for Christmas?

I didn't follow any rules about staying in and beibg away from people. I think if you're up to it then go for it.

I would say...if there wont be alot of kids, and everyone is healthy ( and of course theres no blizzard) I would def. go...
I couldnt keep people outta my house...and I brought the baby out of the house for the 1st time when he was 2 weeks old... We went to my moms...

I took him to a family gathering at 3 weeks old.

I would take the baby assuming I knew everyone was in good health and it wasn't an overwhelming crowd.

I didn't take Jake to family's house until 10 weeks or so, but that's just because there was no reason to (no family gatherings or people came to us). But at 2 - 3 weeks, you can take him to Christmas, but I wouldn't let people be all over him. Just keep the baby in a room by himself away from everyone and all the noise as much as you can so you don't overstimulate him.

I also had no reason to take Emily to a family gathering at first. But we've had as much as 5-6 people here at once visiting her. Then at a month I took her to my brother's house to see him, his wife, thier 10 mo old, my mom, dad and sister. Last weekend I also took her to my aunts house for a gathering. She is 6 weeks old.

I had my daughter on 12/3 and brought her out for Christmas to my parents house and my inlaws house. Just make sure everybody washes their hands before holding your baby.
