Need info on camcorders
i have no idea what brands are good. can anyone help me out? my DH has wanted one for quite a while now. i'm gonna ask my parents for one for x-mas

minidv if you plan on editing...
dvd for ease of its already on a disc to use...i'm not a big fan of them

I highly recommend getting one with its own harddrive...
Also, go on cnet.com to read all the hideously detailed reviews. The reader's reviews are frequently even more telling than the pro reviews
