Need medical advice please
So, I developed these red bumps on my leg last week - red, irriating bumps. I went my primary care doctor on Friday and she told me I had shingles (I freaked out). I followed up with a dermatologist on Saturday who said it wasn't shingles, and "probably" spider bites (don't know how I would get those!). He gave me a topical steroid, and I've been using it since then.
I'm now freaking out because my sister works in a hospital and told me many people are misdiagnosed and that they actually have MRSA (staff infection).
I am not in any pain - yes, they are a little irritating, but I'm not in horrible pain.
Do I go to the ER now to have it checked out? Or do I wait till tomorrow and call yet another doctor??

Is the topical treatment working? Did you sister see the bumps that you have to say that it could be MRSA?
If you are really worried, maybe try a walk in medical center instead of sitting in an ER all night.
I hope everything's ok

If the bumps aren't going away...go back to the dermatologist - or go to a different one for a second opinion.
I personally would do anything other than wait in the ER all night - and possibly pick up MRSA.
