Deep Fryers
Is the max line with the food in or out of the liquid? We are doing a trial run of deep frying a turkey and if we leave it at the max line the top of the turkey won't be in the oil

Re: Deep Fryers
Max line should be filled without the food. When you put the food in, it will go over the max line.

Re: Deep Fryers
Max line is for the oil.
If you are doing a turkey I'd suggest doing it in the driveway, not in the house!

Re: Deep Fryers
Thanks everyone. Don't worry we did it in the backyard not near anything and DH stood out there for a half hour.
Too bad I have come to realize I just don't like turkey
