I must be getting someone elses calls. The number pops up but the phone doesnt ring. So Im thinking it must be a neighbors line. I also turned it off last night and it came on again by itself.

We've had that with DishNetwork for years. We love it! It saves us the effort of getting up to answer the phone if we don't know who is calling (or, even if we *do* know who is calling...   )

didn't notice it yet. But then I still have an ooold cable box, just don't have time to go down and change it for a new one..

You don't have to have the triple play - but you do have to have Optimum voice.

This happened to us for the first time last nite. The phone rang and DH was hysterical. Im like ***? But I missed it so I called from my cell, and there it was.
Too freakin funny. In a way its good b/c I dont always hear our phone ring.

I don't think we have it yet but I would love it. I have my phone set to announce the name of the caller, which is a feature of my phone, but this is better.
ETA: We just tried it. We have it!!!!

Now I am confused because we live in Eastern Long Island and have cablevision. But we don't have this feature and we don't have a channel 630 which everyone is saying to go to for setting changes.
