BBT temps
I hate to sound so clueless, but what temp should I be looking for to indicate I'm pregnant? My temp has been going up for the last 4 days ( 97.8, 98, 98. 98.2). I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight to this....

Re: BBT temps
It's not a specific number it's more that the temp stays raised for at minimum, 10 days. If pregnant, your temp won't drop...if not, you will see a drop and then you should see your period.

Re: BBT temps
Actually, most luteal phases are between 10 and 15 days so sustained high temps beyond your normal phase would indicate a possible pregnancy. It's hard to give a specific number if you don't know your usual luteal phase length (the time from after ovulation to when you get your period).

exactly. to be safe, you would need 18 days of high temps to possibly be pregnant. and you would need to know what your temps were before O to compare it to.

Re: BBT temps
True. I tested with both of my pregnancies after 9 high days (9 DPO) and got a BFP with my first on CD 10 and with this pregnancy CD 9. Good luck, sounds like you definitely ovulated! The high temps at the least confirm ovulation.

Re: BBT temps
It certainly depends. I always found my coverline to be in the 97.6 range and considered 98.5-98.6 a high temp. I was pregnant both times that I had a chart with a few (not just 1-2) high temps like that.
ETS: There is a thread with pg charts if you're interested in seeing other charts that resulted in a BFP. I'll bump for ya.

Re: BBT temps
I don't have my chart on line, but it's all over the place. There is no consistency until 4 days ago. They checked my progesterone levels and it came up .2 which evidently means the Luteal Phase. I'm just really frustrated, sitting here waiting for a call back......

My GYN only tested the Progesterone levels to see if I O'd. So now we are waiting till AF shows and then I have to go back on the 3rd day and have more blood drawn. At that point, she is going to see if my LH levels are still elevated. She thinks I may have PCOS, but we can't be sure until AF shows. She believes when i do have AF, it may not be a real period. If that is the case, it means I'm not ovulating.
