Eye infection- how long should it last?

I am getting concerned

it will be a week tomorrow and I am not seeing the improvement I hoped for

I feel so bad for my crokey- he has been on medicine since halloween night and he is only 50% better

What does yourvet have him on? I would call your vet and explain that he is not really getting better. Maybe he needs something a little stronger.

One of my kittens had an eye infection, it cleared up a few days after she started the ointment.
How many times a day do you give it to him? I would give it to her as often as possible (every 2-3 hours when I was home)

I am going to call the vet now and see what he says

I have been giving him the medicine 2 or 3 times a day- I guess I could give it to him more- this is what the vet told me last time

but I feel like he is wiping it out of his eye right away I put it in

Vet update- he said not to worry- it can take 2 to 3 weeks

if he isn't better by Monday- I am taking him back
