Why does he keep peeing?
DH and I have a German Short haired Pointer who will be 1 year old on the 19th. He is totally house trained but within the last 2 weeks he has been having accidents in the house. Usually, when we aren't paying him the attention he wants. Why is he doing this?

Re: Why does he keep peeing?
You should limit his water intake when you can keep an eye on him. Give him some water, and then pay attention to the next time he pees in the house or outside. If it seems like a normal amount of time it may just be you need to pay more attention.
If not you might need to take him to the vet, it could be a sign of something.
When we were giving our puppy a constant full bowl of water he was peeing in the house every hour.

I am positive it is not a bladder infection. He has had 3 since we got him and this is definitely not one.

Re: Why does he keep peeing?
My dog was doing this a few months back. I just thought he was drinking too much water. I then realized he had blood in his urine, and when I had him checked out it turned out to be a bladder stone. Maybe you should get it checked out esp since he normally doesn't have accidents.
