too much amnoitic fluid

Does/Did anyone have too much amnio fluid? Mine is measuring on the high side and am curious what this is from. My OB tested me for all types of things but everything came back negative. Thanks.

I had this - as well as a few other mommies when I was pregnant - they "thought" for me it was due to a possible swallowing problem - BUT that turned out to be incorrect. They never found out why I had the excess fluid.

Are you on the higher end or normal or over? I was in the 30's for a while but then about 1-2 weeks before delivery it suddenly dropped to normal levels.

Have you had your sugars checked (glucose test) - I know for some having GD can cause excess fluid.

Im on the higher normal side, last time was about 22. My OB said nothing to be alarmed about. I am not officially GD but am monitoring my sugars/diet because I was borderline at 28 weeks. Sometimes the internet can be a bad thing with all that you can read. Im just glad I only have 4 days left.
