Worked Hard? Hardly Worked?
**DH finished his shed last week so we have moved on to the next project...Bathroom Tiling! My job is pretty much over and I'm already not enjoying how difficult it is seeming to be for him!  **

Weekend was great!
We had our first party at the house, since we moved in last weekend 
That was a lot of work, but it was awesome to finally be able to have people over and entertain!

We did really well this weekend.
Cleaned the front yard trimming the trees and the front bushes to get ready for winter!
Checked the roof/windows for leaks and caulked the window casings.
Painted the ceiling in master bedroom - taped, patched and primed the room for painting (which will be done today by DH).
DH ripped out tiles in utility room in preparation to tile it again with new commercial tile.
Cleaned, Cleaned, Cleaned the house.
And as I speak --- we are gettin a new air unit and new furnance, duct work, and all that good stuff so we can have heat tonight!!!!!!!

Worked Hard!
We cleaned up outside. We had shelving and paneling that we took down last weekend that needed to be tied up for the garbage.
We painted! We are almost done now. 
DH did some spackling (sp) & sanding too.
We are getting closer to moving in.

 Great DW had me install baseboard, service boiler and hot water heater, sweep chimney, install new chimney cap, fix leak under kitchen sink, and unpack some boxes from the move. But I did have a steady supply of beer so I can't complain

I did little touch up painting but DH is still working his arse off....this weekend he was making shelves in the closets!

Worked hard...well DH did anyway. 
We gutted the master bedroom & bathroom, including the subfloor in the master bath. Also removed part of a wall connecting the master bath and main bath for the redsign of the master bath.
DH and I installed a bunch of outdoor sconces on the rear of the house (in the rain...that was fun.  ) And my father did a bunch of electrical work in the basement.

Such a liar....DW wanted you to relax after our move & maybe undo a few boxes & go through your clothes & watch baby so I could go to a baby shower yesterday but you insisted on working your butt off....thank you though baby....love you! It was nice to wake up to a warm house this am

Finished painting the hallway and part of the stairs. Got up almost all of the moulding. These finising details really are making the house look great!
