Smoking Pot in a theatre
I know we have had debates on here about pot smokers, so maybe someone can shed some light on this for me.
At what point is it ok to smoke it in a public place, INSIDE?
I was livid and complained to the manager because someone was smoking in the movie theatre. At 5 months pregnant, I should not have to worry about that. It's bad enough I hold my breath when walking into stores.

Were the cops called at least? I mean--in public?

I immediately told the manner and they sid the problem would be handled and someone came in for less than 10 sec, however later on the person started to smoke it again.
It was 12noon, not packed at all. I wrote a formal complaint to UA, because I do not think the manner was handled properly at all.

I dont know where is acceptable and where it isnt anymore
Originally i thought nowhere but then again I went to see Aerosmith last summer and the man next to me smoked pot and blew it into my face and I was 7 months preggo...So i guess ...stupid me!
It turned out for the better bc I moved downward to the stage and got caught and told the guard i couldnt stay in my seat area bc i was preggo and there was Pot around there. he let me stay.

i'm sorry- that's just not right.
i don't care how many people try to down play it into being a social norm-- you are pregnant and trying to watch a movie and people are doing drugs? that's totally inappropriate.
when the management did not handle it properly i simply would have called the police myself to the theatre.
that sux... i mean, do what you are going to do in the privacy of your own house! don't make it someone else's problem.
