Cold remedies
I am almost 5 weeks preggo and have the worst cold. So far, all I have taken is tylenol for the aches and sore throat. Of course today it got worse and my Dr. isn't open on Saturdays. Is there anything else I can take to alleviate the congestion? For now I am just trying to rest and take it easy. Thanks in advance!

Re: Cold remedies
I used a saline spray. Some doctors say you can take sudafed but others say not to. The best thing to do is call your doctor and ask. Feel Better

Re: Cold remedies
When I first saw my doctor, he gave me an approved list of OTC meds that I was able to take, and of course, I can't find it now!

Re: Cold remedies
Not much you can take in the way of medicine. Here are a few things that helped me. Saline nasal spray, humidifier, decaf tea with honey and lemon, gargle with salt water for a sore throat, lots of fluids and rest. Feel better and call your doctor if you don't start to feel better in a few days or you run a fever over 100.6.
