BBT - so P'd at DH
Ok, so this cycle i am finally able to temp normally at 7 am. This past week DH decides to start getting up at 5am..
I told him it is messing with my temps cause it disrupts my sleep and taking my temp correctly... his alarm goes off 3 times between 4:45 and 5:15 - so not only does he minimally disturb me he flat out wakes me up having his alarm go off 3-4 times..
i am so PO'd cause now my temps at that time are showing that i am not O'ing but my temps i take 2 hrs later at 730 ish show that i am... i have no idea what to think of my cycles now, i am SOOOOO p'd
thanks, i had to vent! any suggestions?

Sorry, that stinks. I'd say start taking your temps at 5 am and use some other way of monitoring, like CM. Or just BD every other day so you have it covered. Good luck!

I am already past O time, he started this 3 days past O time, so i am trying to see if my temps stay up after when i am "sure" i O'd. My temps were consistent before and after O, and now with 5am wake ups they are not, this is so incredibly fustrating. i dont know how some of you do it for months and months!
The last 3 months my neighbor kept waking me with his Harley and random times so i gave up temping - and now that it is colder and he is not using his harley, DH is fustrating me!

I would start temping when his alarm goes off. Take that temp and go back to sleep. Give up on the 7am time, it is no longer reliable.

I agree with this. I purposely set my alarm for 6:30 a.m., which is 30 minutes before DH has to get up for work on his 2 early days. If I did it any later, I'd run the risk of disrupted sleep beforehand. On the off-chance I'm up a little earlier, I just take it then; as long as you're in the same range (30 minutes in either direction, I think), those temps should be reliable.

i take my temp at 7 am each morning. DH wakes up at 6 and hits snooze on his alarm. It was very frustrating at first and I wanted to adjust my temp time but I decided to wait it out. now, i barely hear his alarm anymore so my disturbance is minimal. and i do NOT get up.
i think you should continue with your temps at 7 and then switch to an earlier time next cycle.

This is how i feel because i am pretty much taking my temp 1/2 asleep still - i have even dozed off with the thermometer in my mouth when doing this - months ago when dealing with my neighbor i found those early mornings my temp would be 92.XX - but normal morning it was a consistent 97.5 ish - if awake enough i will keep tracking both and see what happens at the end of this month.. maybe in the end it wont make much difference?!?!
