Need advice
As I posted earlier, I have a small yeast infection and this is also the week when DH and I would TTC. I was trying some home remedies and, so far, all they have done is relieve the itch, not take the infection away. So, I called my OBGYN today and they said that they will not call in a script for me unless I see the doctor. Lucky for me, my friend works in a doctors office and she is giving me a sample of medication tomorrow morning.
My question is, should DH and I still TTC tonight even though I still have this infection? We BD on Sunday night and it didn't feel pleasant (TMI). I tried my home remedy and it worked! Should we TTC tonight, I'll use the home remedy if necessary, and then just take the meds tomorrow?

Re: Need advice
Most yeast infections that are self diagnosed incorrectly and are in fact Bacterial Vaginosis which can cause preterm labor and other complications during pregancy. I personally would go get checked out, properly diagnosed and take appropriate treatment for the condition before I would TTC. Waiting one month isn't really going to make a difference in the grand scheme of things is it?

Honestly, one month won't make a difference. I think you should get better and enjoy it with hubby. You want to make special and comfortable. Get the proper treatment and plan again for next month.

Thanks for your feedback. I have had chronic yeast infections since I was younger. I have been screened by my doctor so many times and each time it is a yeast infection. But, I think DH and I will have to wait till next month anyway.
