Would you like to help me with a color?
I hate the color of my porch/den. It is a lightish blue with a navy blue area rug currently. I don't know what I was thinking 
I plan on installing wall to wall in this room in a beige-y color. I want to coordinate with this as well as coordinate with the living room. The living room has beige walls; the rug in there is like a Persian with reds/beiges/black/olive. Here's the picture below to get an idea...what do you think?

The color that quickly popped into my head was a wine/burgundy type color. I might be totally off and you might hate my idea. I just think it would really stick out. I wouldn't go lighter than the living room but you don't have to go as dark as burgundy either. I just think it will go nice with your wood and the area rug and also the wall to wall carpet you mentioned would look good too, I think.

I agree with this. Your rug is beautiful in the LR and painting the porch in a win-ish color would tie those 2 rooms together. I also think, like the PP said, that it would look nice with your floors and the exisitng wall color in the LR.

i would paint it green w/ bamboo shades. it would be a nice compliment to the outdoors. you have such nice windows in that room and a great outside greenery.

I was thinking a burgandy, or actually adarker brown than what is in the living room, maybe getting that paint strip and go with a darker version of that, and do burgandy curtains

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I think I like the idea of green!
Burgandy sounds nice too, but even though the picture doesn't show it, the room is full of windows and maybe lighter would be better? Also, the couch is dark brown as is the furniture...hmmm...I think I'm just too scared!
