I work down the block and I think I've seen girls coming out, but that doesn't mean they are students

I think you either have to be Catholic or Greek Orthodox...that is what my mom told me. She works in another Catholic HS.

My cousin went there..It's an all boys Catholic high school. Don't know if they accept students of other religions (because I know there are some catholic schools who do).

It is an all boys Catholic HS.
From their website:
Philosophy Statement of Chaminade High School
Chaminade High School combines the proven curriculum and methods of a successful tradition with modern pedagogical advances to provide its students with a rich, qualitative educational experience. The Chaminade program, offered in an atmosphere of positive Christian commitment, requires a thorough study of basic intellectual disciplines, while offering extensive co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities for practical application and personal understanding.
Chaminade High School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities of the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial policies, activities, athletics or other school administered programs.
Chaminade is a Catholic boys school. It was founded to serve the Catholics of Long Island and has enjoyed their support and assistance. Accordingly, priority of admissions is given to baptized members of the Roman Catholic Church. Enrollment is open to young men of all faiths as resources permit, with the priority given to Catholic students.
Chaminade High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, national or ethnic origin in its employment policies and practices.

it's a boys only high school. you don't have to be catholic to go there, but he will have to take theology courses and attend Mass and other things that they do that are centered around the faith.
academically, he will receive an amazing education re: of his religion. it's a great school.

Re: Is Chaminade all-Catholic school?
Ah, but several graduates have told me that they ask potential candidates for admission questions regarding the Catholic faith and their practice of it.
Not sure if this is still done but it was done up until the mid 90's.
If you answered "incorrectly" you were not considered for admission... that's "off the record".

I *thought* anyone could attend, but when I called they said you must be Catholic.... I thought that was a little odd since I had heard otherwise in the past, so I wanted to see if anyone had direct experience.... thanks guys

My brother went there. You do not have to be Catholic to go there. However, being it is a Catholic school, if you are Catholic you are given preference. If there are still spaces available, then students of other faiths are admitted.
