My RE Appointment
Well I met with the RE yesterday with DH. First, trying to find the place was a nightmare. I got the address off of my insurance website. Well, the doctor was no longer in that building anymore. He hasn't been there in 8 YEARS!!!!!!!!! I was absolutely livid. I called the office and they told me that they are in Flushing, so DH and I drove over and I was an hour late.
When I finally met the doctor, he took down my entire history and he looked at my past test results. The cyst that I have on my left ovary is the size of a golf ball and before he does any surgery, he wanted to do a sonogram. While he performed the sonogram, he couldn't find the cyst. How can a cyst the size of a golf ball all of the sudden disappear because the radiologist who did my HSG said that he saw it. DH has to go for semen analysis and I have to have another sonogram done by the doctor when I have AF.

When was your HSG? It's possible the cyst could have shrunk in that time.

Yeah tell me about it, LOL. Hopefully in 2 weeks I'll get my answers, if not maybe they'll do an MRI.

My HSG was on 10/10. I don't know if this type of cyst can shrink. Its an endometrioma which is filled with blood. They call it a chocolate cyst because of the color of it.
