Re: TMI- but I have to ask
Some people have EWCM after O. BUT-if you're not temping or using OPK's what is fertility friend going on? You shouldn't assume you O exactly on day 14........

I agree with the PP. Are you sure you o'd on 10/1? If you're not using OPKs or temping then how do you know? I would BD just in case.

Re: TMI- but I have to ask
aahhhhh thanks for repsonding!
so I am going to by a OPK for the next cycle. my period is every 28 days.. so I plugged in my cycle dates and it told me that I should O around that date.
so here's another question.. after my cycle is finished.. on what CD should I start using the OPK? as you can all tell I am absolutely clueless about this!
but thank you all for responding! I really appreciate it!

Re: TMI- but I have to ask
I O'ed last Saturday and by Sunday dried up after O. I was reading that you can dry up within hours of your O date but I guess all are different but I would definity O today and tom just in case. GL!

Re: TMI- but I have to ask
btw-- sunday & monday.. (monday being the O date according to mymonthlycycles.om) my boobs were super tender/sore.. which I was told was one of the symptoms of ovulating..and I had a few cramps..
so if this EWCM means that I am O-ing then mymonthlycycle.com is incorrect with the 10/1 O date. but to solve this problem will be to buy the OPK next cycle. but I don't know what CD to start using the OPK. all I know is that I have to use it after my menstrual cycle.

Well, if you have a 28 day cycle you should probably start using the OPK on CD10 so you don't miss the surge.
ETA: This website says to start using OPKs on CD12. opk

In the package of the OPKs I used, it suggested what day to start using them based on how many days your cycle is.

Re: TMI- but I have to ask
In the OPKs I use (Answer Midstream) comes with a chart that explains based on your cycle length when to start testing.
It's pretty straight forward.
