Help with paint colors (long sorry)
Please help DH and I choose paint colors. Here are pics of the rooms from the previous HO’s:
Front room:
Kitchen:
Den:
Bedroom:
Front Room: The front door opens to the front room on the left and the kitchen straight ahead, but we will be putting up a half wall and column to the left of the front door so the room has some separation and we can create a foyer. We are planning on using this as a formal dining room/sitting area. And we are going to have someone come in and do wainscoting in the front room, so we were thinking of doing a dark color in that room, it would look like this with the white wainscoting:
Blue Sage:
Den: In the Den (back room), I really love this light blue color, because this room leads to the deck and I thought it would be nice to have a very light airy color or that room. DH thinks it’s too light and wants something darker. It is a large room, so I understand what he’s means when he says it’s too light, as it won’t seem very cozy. Our couch for this room is a stone color and dark brown wood furnishings. The only other color we could agree on is the shade lighter than the front room, here are the 2 colors (but no wainscoting in this room):
Atmosphere Blue
Sea green
Kitchen: Now the kitchen is a galley kitchen which is in the middle of the front room and den, so we were going to paint the wall to the right of the front door the same color as the kitchen so that it has a separation from the front room. Should we go with a nice neutral stone color or use the lightest shade of the other colors we’re using in the front room and the den (back room)? Here are the 2 colors, again without the wainscoting:
Stone (paint can- not color on wall):
Silver Sage:
Do you think having all these similar colors on the same floor is too much?
Bedroom: We have vaulted ceilings in our master bedroom but I really want a nice light color, so we were thinking of either the silver sage or the atmosphere blue (shown above).
What do you think? I know lots of question, thanks for any help you can give!

I like all the colors, but it's a little hard to view all of this when I don't know what the house really looks like. I don't think using similar colors on the same floor is a bad idea, that way it compliments each other. I think it would look nice. I don't know how much that helps you. Sorry!

I do like the colors........I would keep them in the same color family if they are all on the same floor. I really like them!

I like all the colors you chose, I think the green would look better than the blue in your den.

Ok, here is my suggestion. btw, i love the colors you chose. I would think about doing the dining (front) room the lighter green & the den the darker green (cozier) The kitchen the stone and the bedroom that light bluish color.
