I realized when I woke up the other morning that I am afraid people would call my daughter Izzy if I name her isabella. I love isabella, but here are some other names. Which do you like best?? Thank you....feel free to share your chosen names

I picked Sabrina bc its pretty and while Isabella and Sofia are too, they are SOOO common right now.

Isabella is my top choice too. Dh is afraid of the Izzy thing. I would rather have baby be called Bella for a nick name. You can just correct people if it is your favorite. However, I also LOVE Sabrina!

I love the name Isabella but DH didn't. It NEVER occured to either one of us that Izzy might be the nickname.

I have the same thoughts as you do about Izzy. It would probably be inevitable at some point. I think Sophia is really cute!
ETA: I have a cousin named Elizabeth and my uncle was adamant when she was born that her name was Elizabeth and that he hated Liz. Lo and behold she is now 21 and has been called Liz for years.
