Must be some type of pasta. Probably a nice big italian meal. Penne ala vodka or mom's bake ziti. With a nice crusty bread, olive oil, roasted garlic (when it's soft like butter to spread on the bread), locatelli or parmigianna cheese and a nice napoleon for dessert

If there were a way, I would start with my late Italian grandmothers homemade soup that I always got when I stayed by her house when I was sick. No one has ever been able to duplicate it.

And then onto either Sauerbraten or Beef Stroganoff

I think it would have to be my Mums Roast Lamb with my Grandma's roast potatoes, my Mums cauliflower in white sauce, peas and Mums homemade mint sauce on the side with her homemade gravy followed by her Steamed Treacle Pudding with Custard and a fine bottle of Chablis Premier Cru. It would have to be with my whole family at the table.

I would go to the place we ate at on our honeymoon and get the following: start with a gargonzola salad, clam chowder, the filet with blue cheese melted onto ( ) it's really that good and to finish blackberry cobbler. What a way to say good bye

Lobster- fresh, steamed, side of butter, crispy steak style french fries, bottle of very expensive champange

But...if I wanted to really stretch it out, I'd go to the Cheesecake Factory on a Saturday night around 6:30 and order a Factory Burrito and the Godiva Brownie ice cream sundae. I could get 3 hours out of that dinner!

Slice of warm brick oven bread dipped in Extra virgin olive oil & roasted garlic

Appetizer:

Fried Calamari
Baked Clams
2 slices of prociutto & a stuffed Shitake mushroom

Salad:
Ceaser salad with a few extra garlic croutons

Pasta:
Penne Ala Vodka Sicilian Style (with prociutto, peas & mushrooms)

Main Course:
Filet Mignon (MEDIUM) dripping with Bernaise sauce.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Cream of Spinach

Dessert
Tartufo & a canoli

somethign really bad for me!

definitely italian... some garlic bread and bruschetta for an appetizer, some good chicken parm or pasta stuffed with cheese for the main course, and for dessert, the "toll house pie" i just had in maine this weekend
