How accurate are OPK?
I was just doing some thinking and thought of something that doesn't make sense to me. If an OPK comes out + and you bd that moment and 3 - 4 afterward your chances becoming pg are extremely good but why wouldn't one get pg?
Unless +OPK may not be accurate which I am starting to believe may be a good possibilty.
Sorry, this the part of TTC I just don't get

Re: How accurate are OPK?
No, I think they are generally accurate in detecting your LH surge. However, just because you get a surge, doesn't 100% guarantee that you O. That's why I temp too, the temp shift confirms that you O'ed.
Also, you only have about a 20% chance of conceiving even under ideal circumstances. That is even lower the older you get (due to egg quality and other issues). But I also can't quite understand how if you BD with perfect timing, you don't get pg more easily!

You described it perfectly but I also agree with you regarding the bd'ing timing, it's quite strange. I never knew how tricky TTC would be.
