Keyspan Bill
If you don't mind sharing, how much is yuor average Keyspan bill?
The past 2 bills we have gotten have been $15 and $13 and it just seems low. We have gas for our hot water and stove.
I'm not complaining, but I just don't want to get sc rewed in the long run and get hit with a huge bill and not be prepared for it.
Thanks!

Re: Keyspan Bill
we use gas for our heat, hot water heater and dryer....during the warm its not higher than $75 during the winter about $300 a month.
We had a 2 family house,, so 4 adults showering everyday and doing laundry.
Your bill doesnt sound too high....it sounds like one month was an estimate and the other was the actual reading...thats why the difference in amts

Re: Keyspan Bill
I have gas for my dryer and my stove only so my bills are pretty low - about $20 - $30 every 60 days.

Re: Keyspan Bill
Ok - so it looks like we are right on track - we don't have gas for heat - just water, the stove and the dryer.
I was worried that it was too low, but it seems like a few of you are right there with us in terms of gas cost.
thanks!

Re: Keyspan Bill
This past winter it was almost $400 some months but then we got a new boiler & hot water heater which lowerred out bills significantly. During the summer I haev been paying $36 to $59. We also got a new gas dryer so that probably helped too. I won't really know the savings of the new items though till this winter and unfortunately we still need all new windows and doors to save even more.
