Ok, I'm back with updates!
I was nervous from day one with this whole buying disaster and I'm seriously still waiting for the phone call that says "Stacy, I'm sorry but...." I really have not come to reality or terms with the fact that this is really happening.
I had some BAD Identity Theft issues happen and I swore it would deny me a loan or a VA loan at the least. I got a good attorney and a few days later...CLEAR! Pre-approved! I guess because I'm so nervous from that it's still so surreal.
Anyway, it's true though. We found a brand new home in an up and coming subdivision really close to the Air Station we work at and put our offer down, had no troubles there and WE'RE CLOSING ON THE 21ST!!!
This is ME, COMPLETELY in SHOCK as the days go by and I pack boxes!!!!!
Did anyone else NOT believe it until the very end?

Congrats!!! I think I was in utter shock til the moment I saw the first mortgage payment!!! I still remember walking into the house for the first time, I still didn't think it was ours

I'm in denial also. Every time I pack a box, I wonder if I should leave the top open "just in case".
