Opinions please

We are starting with a blank canvas...

what do you like better

this is our furniture



and the carpet is beige, we have a really really large bedroom, with 3 windows so it gets a lot of light, we have a tray ceiling, and a chandalier

bedroom A:

We would paint the walls the burgundy color of the pillows




or


bedroom B:

No idea what color we would paint






or any other suggestions....our dining room is navy blue, and our family room is a pale blue, so dh wants something in the red family for our bedroom

I love a red room. Our living room/dining area is a warm red (pics in album). If you paint your walls a dark red, have dark furniture and then have dark bed linens (especially the navy blue), you may encounter two problems: 1) the room ends up feeling very "heavy" especially if you don't get a lot of natural light and 2) it may be hard to tell what the focal point of the room is.

Of the two options you posted, I prefer the red and tan striped. Would you consider using the striped pillows/sheets with a solid, light tan duvet? This would break up all of the dark colors a little bit and make the bed pop more. Hope this helps

I love the bedding #2. I'm a red fan. I would do that bedding with tan walls.
