Marketing question
As a client or customer.. what do you think sounds better? If I were to say to you.. we are sending you a few of our marketing kits.. or we are sending you a few of our brochures.
I think "marketing kits" is fine used within the company but when refering to clients the word should be "brochures".. what do you all think

Re: Marketing question
hmmm. It depends on the product and what the industry standard is. For us, our clients are B2B so there is standard lingo/language when discussing marketing kits.....

Re: Marketing question
I agree.
What is in the kit (just wondering if I could offer something else to say)?

Re: Marketing question
It's really a brochure, our newly designed brochures and inside has our senior staff bio's, as well as some new services we provide as well as our main services we have provided for over 26 years..and all about our company.

Re: Marketing question
I would use "brochures".
To say "marketing kit" might imply that samples are being sent as well.

Re: Marketing question
Brochure!
never say "marketing kit" it makes people feel like they're being sold something (which, of course, they are, but that's not the point). With a "brochure" you're being kind enough to provide them with information. I would never call it a marketing kit externally.
